Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
New home in a gated community domain of 500 hectares. It's located on floor 20 with a view of the skyline of Hanoi. It's a 45-60 min drive from Hanoi airport to our home. We are a married Belgian - Vietnamese couple with a son of almost 4 years. We are seeking to exchange with Belgians in the Bruges - Ghent - Kortrijk triangle because most of our Belgian family members are located in B-8700 Tielt. We are seeking to exchange also our car Mazda CX30 (premium AUT, 2 liter benzine) and Honda scooter PCX 150cc. Both vehicles are in our secured, underground parking garage.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our home is located in a well established, gated and secured domain of 500 hectares. At 100m from our home is a golf academy: we can connect you for playing (or getting a course in ENG/FR) upon simple demand. There's a clean swimming pool downstairs only for the residents (we will arrange your access). There's tennis, badminton, table tennis all around. Downstairs is also a serviced dry and wet sauna at your disposal. At walking distance are very decent Vietnamese, Italian, French and international breakfast, lunch and dining places (at very friendly prices...). As for the cultural offerings : best is to take a GRAB taxi to Hanoi city center for about 300k vnd (12usd/eur) one way. No stress, no need seeking parking and 24/7 available. We never use our own car neither motorbike for going to Hanoi. Only for all the local and other destinations than Hanoi we use our own Mazda car or Honda scooter.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
We are a married Belgian - Vietnamese couple with a son that turns 4 in June 2024. We are seeking to exchange 3-4 weeks (inside SEP 2024) with Belgians living inside the Bruges - Ghent - Kortrijk triangle since the mother of Joris (90y) lives in a serviced flat in Tielt. We stayed september 2023 in Belgium with some family members but a month is "trop = te veel", begrijpt u ;-) ? So, we decided trying this HomeLink ! Our Vietnamese home is our new property since June 2023. It's cosy and clean, we expect a likewise home ourselves in Belgium. We also offer our Mazda CX30 (premium AUT, benzine, 2 liter motor) that can be driven anywhere in Vietnam but just fly if your domestic destination is more than 300kms ? You cannot leave Vietnam during your stay unless you have a multiple-entry visa demanded in the Vietnamese embassy in Brussels (it's online possible too now !). And take the GRAB taxiservice to go to Hanoi. UBER does not exist here. So, we expect people willing to offer their car usage in Belgium too. We will drive your car in West and East Flanders 95pct of the time (visiting mum in her service flat in Tielt, taking her to De Haan, Veurne, Diksmuide (where she has friends). Of course Joris has a Belgian drivers license that I can send you a photo over whatsapp or so.
